Response to the statement
"Tax dollars should not be wasted on art, music or theater classes in high school. Public high schools should be about training young people to enter the workforce. Period." First off, I strongly disagree with this statement. This statement is proposing that it is a waste to put taxes towards certain classes that are the foundations of careers and everyone should work in the "workforce" which I suppose refers to an office job. Not every person is fit for a office job. The world would lack creative input from people in the world. This statement seems to be have said from an older adult who grew up in a different lifestyle and culture. In this day and age, Work can come in many ways. From Broadway, producer, designer, chef, and artists, because these people do what they do, the world is fun and people are able to enjoy things outside of work.
